Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced a difficult childhood. In order to leave an abusive partner, Pickler's mother resigned when she was barely 2 years old. The mother of Pickler returned to her life and took full custody. It didn't go well. When Pickler aged 12, the court returned her to her maternal grandparents who brought her up to adulthood. Pickler, in the absence her parents as well as her elder siblings, became too busy to be a mother. The mother of three admitted she did not have time to go to classes and started to be a domestic worker from an early age. Pickler participated in cheerleading at her middle and high schools.
