Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the only woman to ever win the two CrossFit Games. She came in second place at the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. Her fame has been built on being the only woman who has ever won twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 as well as 2012. Her other achievements includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Annie was an avid sportsperson and began working out at the age of five. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around about 67kg. Annie began CrossFit back in California. She did well on her first games, finishing in the top 10. The team did not get any results from the tournament, and ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. It was her second year, she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the very first woman who won CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won her first CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie works as a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie became a celebrity athlete following her fame. She has been associated with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae and many more.
